PASS uses cookies and similar local storage only for things that are strictly necessary to operate the service. We do not run advertising, retargeting, or cross-site tracking.
What we set
- Auth session cookies / localStorage: set by our authentication provider so you stay signed in across pages. Removed when you sign out or when the session expires.
- Stripe iframe cookies: set by Stripe inside its checkout iframe to prevent payment fraud. Stripe's Cookies Policy covers these.
What we don't set
- No Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, TikTok, or similar advertising tags.
- No cross-site behavioral analytics.
- No third-party retargeting cookies.
Why there's no cookie banner
Most cookie banners exist to obtain consent for non-essential cookies (advertising, analytics). Because PASS only sets essential cookies, no consent banner is required under current US, GDPR, or ePrivacy guidance. If we ever add a non-essential cookie, we'll add a consent prompt before it loads.
Controlling cookies
You can clear or block cookies from your browser settings. Blocking auth cookies will prevent you from signing in to PASS.
